The 1st Shanghai International Cruise Ship Supply Exhibition was successfully held from October 25 to 27, 2023 at Hong Space, Shanghai North Bund International Passenger Center, concurrently with the 5th Shanghai International Cruise Shipbuilding Forum & Exhibition. The exhibition was co-hosted by the Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Government, the Shanghai Hongkou District People's Government, and the Shanghai Services Federation (SSF), with support from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, and other organizations. Mr. Zheng Huiqiang, former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and President of the Shanghai Services Federation, Mr. Zhang Jie, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Mr. Yang Chao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Pudong New Area Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor of Pudong New Area, and Mr. Chen Shuai, Deputy Mayor of the Shanghai Hongkou District People's Government, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

Nearly 300 representatives attended the opening ceremony, including senior executives from Royal Caribbean International, Adora Cruises, Viking Cruises, Blue Dream Cruises, Peace Boat, and other cruise lines, as well as representatives from industry associations, universities, cruise supporting supply chain enterprises, and cruise ship supply companies. The cruise supply forum invited industry guests including Mr. Meng Heng, Deputy Director of Procurement & Supply Chain of Adora Cruises Ltd.; Mr. Lu Guangyuan, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Blue Dream International Cruise Co., Ltd.; Ms. Shao Qinxin, General Manager of ESS Group China; Mr. Fan Dao, General Manager of Zhuhai Fanwang Technology Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Jiang Dongxin, Chairman of Anmeishi (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Executive Director & General Manager of Shanghai Anmu International Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., to share insights with the audience. The cruise supply forum was moderated by Mr. Cheng Juehao, Secretary-General of the Council of the Asia Cruise Academy, Shanghai Maritime University, and Vice Chairman of the China Cruise & Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA).

The Shanghai International Cruise Ship Supply Exhibition is the only professional cruise ship supply exhibition in Asia. It serves as an important platform for understanding market trends in the Asian and Chinese cruise ship supply sector, deepening cross-border cruise supply cooperation, building a cruise supply chain community, and promoting the high-quality development of the full cruise industry chain in Shanghai.
